LOST

so crap. i took the wrong T!! went all the way to the wrong direction just because the board at the train station stated the station on the other line!! i mean i thought my friend had emailed me to take the C line but when i looked at the board, the station name was on the B line.. so i took it and when it neared (i didnt count how many but i thought 15 stations would take some time), i "stuck my head out" to look out for the station but it never got to it! so i went to ask the driver and guess what? the station is no longer served! gosh! he asked me to get off coz that would be the 'nearest' station.. but.. sadly, it had to rain BIG time.. it was so heavy that the bottom half of me was soakingly wet! sigh. called my friend and was told i'm on the wrong line. i had travelled so far that it took me a good 20-30min before i went to the nearest station where i could transfer back. sobz. wasted like $2.50 (that's like S$4!!) to and fro that station i got lost. i was quite "scared" coz i was in an unknown neighbourhood and i wasnt sure if it was safe. anyhows, i doubt pple will mug in the super heavy rain. i arrived half "dead" and half-starving. dinner was ok. chicken cooked with spices and basil leaves, onion omelette and mixed veg with rice. sumptous to an extent. btw, my friend's indian. i was hoping there would be roti (bread). =p

on my way home now (typed while on T) travelling back to Harvard. kinda a 'bad' experience of sorts. didnt make it to go bible study even though i had initially planned to leave earlier (dinn @ 7pm, i changed to 6:15pm with the intentions to leave early but of coz that didnt happen). am pretty tired. when i eventually reached my friend's place, i had left HArvard area for 2 hours liaoz! her boys were pretty much naughty. kept running around, wanting to get attention (from me mainly, but also from their parents who were busy talking to me =p). the younger one pee-ed a little on the carpet and got scolding from his parent. the older one "earned" a 'time-out' for whacking his younger brother somewhere along the line too. i think i'd bring up my kids in a very different way. but then again, it's me. i don't like my kids not listening to my instructions. heh. =p

gg back to have a nice warm shower and sleep. myung hoon (korean. knew from camp canonicus last year) might be coming tomorrow with his older cousin sister and brother-in-law. but i might go out with serene in the aftn together with MIT/Harvard pple - not sure if i'll be allowed to go though. but serene thinks that since there'll be harvard pple gg, i'll probably stand a good chance. stupid right?
