i only have 2.5 weeks to go!! before summer sch ends, that is. yay!! and i was supposed to send mei my summer timetable.. *sheepish grin* thanks to all who have been praying and encouraging me!! =)

there was an assignment due on friday and i only reaslied the date on thu. bad bad. i managed to finish up by 11pm.. and then realised there was another one due on the same next day! gosh!! so i struggled to get sth out. had already done part of it couple of days before (but really forgotten it was due on fri because the date in my mind was 4 Aug, where the entire assignment (part 1 and 2) was due - fri was part 1 - got it all mixed up!) but anyways, was dozing off over my laptop so decided to go to bed instead (slept abt 5hrs =( sigh. sad right? pple's summer all fun and laughter..)
yesterday (fri - only had teachings in the morning and no aftn classes, yay!)
i spilt ink all over my floor, (boo!) on the left side of my pants and a litte bit of my laptop (the dust flew over a little. managed to get all, if not most of it out. thank God!!) bleah. my printer was printing with one side coated with ink so i wanted to see if it was unproportioned and wanted to give the cartridge a shake to even it out (learnt it from a colleague back at APC who told me to shake the printer toner when it showed low on ink, before finally changing it.) cleaned up - heh. then this time, managed to print w/o the trace of ink at the side anymore.. so yay! cycled to sch to hand up my assignment and had a 3mins' talk with the 2 nice administrators. =p had to rush coz i was late mtg helen (from northen ireland. cool rite? knew her from canonicus last year) she was in town visitng before heading to camp. she's volunteering there for 2 weeks! mine oh mine, pple are just drawn to go back to the same camp (maybe coz of all the friendships you developed over summer) but for me, i'd rather go to another *bigger* camp with more facilities. heh. it's just me. rebellious. haha.
we headed to super 88 (again. yes, idea of yours truly. it's my fav hang out lah. haha. aiyah, cant think of better ideas since i've only been here for a month?) bought more groceries - opps, it's really bad, i buy stuff to "make later" (like almond jelly - i made some last week and they were yummy!!) and more snacks to make myself grow fat (as though)!! i've been snacking lots. from the lack of company - i'm usually all alone after school. and i guess from the stress too. bought couple of jap snacks for serene. got helen to choose the flavour for ice-pops (she's never seen flavours like yam, green tea, green beans, red beans) coz she was just so amazed. the other thing was that she's a very tea person so i brought her to the shelf that displayed all kinds of chinese tea (she was just so amazed! - sorry lack of vocab here =p). wanted to let her try ducks' egg (century eggs) and also buy gui4 ling2 gao1 (grass jelly?) but thought it might scare her way too much. hah. ended up getting her a cup of bubble tea with those black tapioca balls. i gave her the freedom to choose the flavour and she decided to stick to a "safer" one and we got strawberry milk tea. haha. she did look abit scared when i gave it to her to try. *smiles* we sat down to drink coz it was raining heavily. weird thing was that it was all hot, bright and sunny before we went into the supermarket and all dark, gloomy and cloudy with heavy rain when we got out. we didnt take a long time in there, i'm quite sure.. hpmf.
today
i went to watch a movie today!! serene and i went to get this free movie ticket each, by gg to this particular store and trying on any of their jeans. *grinz* watched Superman Returns. wanted to walk into another theatre after but serene was gg home and i wasnt quite prepared to watch an unknown movie by myself (so apparently, they only check your ticket once and you could walk around the entire cinema and walk into any theatre you wanted. sgp curbs this by making us exit at a different exit). serene was saying maybe she'll go try on more jeans next week and heh, get another free ticket? (maybe i would too! read: typical sgporeans) and then maybe hit the theatres earlier next sat to do a "movie marathon"? we were there to catch the 320pm show today. i had an exam this morning lah (sat 8am loh!!). realised the actual name of the exam is Massachusetts Test for Educator's Licensure (MTEL). opps. it went ok. wish i could say it went well. it's an english paper basically and nope, english is definitely not my strongest subject. =p i'm not great at languages.. some of my cohorts friends took both the morning (english paper) and afternoon (our subject; for me would have been math if i was that crazy =p) papers. that would make it 8 hrs of exams!! amazing how these pple can do it. i'm doing my subject paper in sept. hopefully i'll pass today's paper and only do math.. *keeps fingers crossed* will do middle sch then and maybe high sch maths e following round - not sure yet but might just do =p
