I found your paper to be well-written and well-argued. Your use of Shor to illuminate the dilemmas in culturally relevant pedagogy is a great foil to buying the argument hook, line, and sinker. In other words, you are a healthy skeptic about justice requiring overt conversion when the challenge of teaching content well (through engaging activity and relevant curriculum) is challenge enough. Nice work—I appreciate your perspective.
pleasant surprise. really. many thanks to keng and serene for proof-reading and editing my paper. =) must have been really hard on them to read my stuff like every few days last couple of weeks. now it's beginning to tone down a little. still have assignments but not as much or as frequent. and definitely lesser readings.. =p (btw, i dont really understand what my prof's comments mean =p *grinz*)
alrighty, time to head home. it's 1115pm and i'm still in the library! haha..
