Future Me

Dear Future Me,

I'm writing this to remind you of God's goodness - that He has blessed you to go to Harvard, sth more than what you can ever hope or dream of, simply because He has put His favour on you. that truly, one day in the House of God is better than a thousand days in the world..

so blessed! that you cant contain it. so much (goodness), you've got to give it away. His love has taught you to live; He is more than enough for you! remember that! remember the unexpressable joy when you received the email notification from Harvard. remember the mixed feeling of anxiety of not knowing what might come ahead after you graduated finally after 4.5 yrs from NTU - the last sem was so painful to bear but God saw you through. remember the tears you shed when you saw God opening the door for you to live your "impossible" dream. remember the prayers you uttered each night and those written in your prayer diary.. where you wanted to go to States to be with keng. remember the Lord and His goodness.

Remember that there will not be anything too big or too great that the Lord cannot handle. know that He is sovereign and all-knowing. know that His ways and His thoughts are higher than yours. Remember that always and be strong!!

sth i picked up from Eunice mei. =) i didnt think i'd use this "letter" so soon. but when i was so upset on friday, i decided to take it out and read it. it reminded me of God's everlasting goodness. how He would be faithful and true to bring me through it all. i am really blessed to have friends and family back home ready to support and encourage me as i walk this difficult path. my mentor's a christian too. though the first teaching team had my partner swapped out to another team and a new member added, the dynamics have been pretty ok so far. so i guess it's really all in God's plans. i need to trust Him more..
