It's almost the end..

of summer. ok, summer school. hah. i'm so glad that everything has been pretty smooth thus far. drained. but still alive and kicking.. ok, not quite kicking but at least not dead. =p i'm in such a contridictory mood now - and i duno why!

maybe i do. *rolls eyes & grinz* i've been getting along with most of my classmates pretty well. have been able to voice out my 'struggles' of being international. have been able to share my thoughts and feelings of stuff. so i guess feeling more fitting. have a 'party' (nah, just a dinner with friends) tmr night. it'll be so interesting! we did have one 2 weeks ago, maybe 3 weeks? (read: my memory's failing me). at Christine's house. this Taiwanese girl who's now a US citizen. anyhows, i guess it'll be fun. Serene just left Boston for Singapore this morning. she's been staying at my apt the last couple of days (a good change in environment but can't represent her in saying she left the summer housing with BBC sisters because of unhappiness/sian-ness?), which was really cool. we did stuff together. talked a lot. *smiles* she did however, managed to kind of sprained her left ankle 3 days ago so she has been walking with a little limp. poor her. hope she's ok on the plane. i miss her already!! (i'll be alone until Aug 20 when keng flies back) and it'll be lonely weekends w/o her company (opps, getting so used to her liaoz..) i guess i'll use my time to do stuff. i've a paper due monday (actually one due last week but none of my classmates have done anyth, and so haven't i. *GRINZ*) so i plan to take this weekends to do up everything so i can truly rest after wednesday (it'll be the last day of school and a free cohort dinner at night. yay!)

i might take to the asian supermart again this weekends, depending if myung hoon (korean) and helen (irish) are coming up from Rhode Island (they're now at the camp i was working at last year; weekends shld be starting for them in half an hr - break camp time). gonna download and (sort of) study for driving which i plan to do after wednesday. oh, i'll be going for this free Contact Singapore dinner next tueday too - to celebrate National Day. *smiles*

last update before i head home: i made a couple more earrings past few times. found a neat little shop that sells interesting beads. bought a couple there and plan to make more during my free time.. =) aim to get my website and all the payment stuff up and running by end Aug. keep me in prayers!!
