hmmpf, just looking (mentally taking note) at the list i have to do makes me sad. lol. i guess being a teacher means marking papers and with the way i want to test my kids, it's no wonder i have so much to do. haha! i make students explain their answers - which means i have to go over them. and i'm told by another teacher who teaches the next grade level, that i'm take good care to write out the reason why the kid got it wrong. (aka read: long winded!)
there's a project to grade. but this is fun. i had them make an advertisement on a place they chose for a vacation destination. of coz you can tell easily if one copied the stuff directly from the internet. and of coz you can tell if it was sloppy work. but that aside, it was fun reading what you could do at each destination (they had free will to do wherever they wanted which was cool!) and also knowing how crazily expensive a vacation can be if you chose to stay at 4* hotels or better. haha! (darn, shld've given them a budget limit so i'll know the cheap places!)
of coz there's also church stuff. i'm on the committee with pastor and the program director. i.e. both church staff. and moi is finding it hard to juggle with the planning and sch work load. pls pray very hard for us. we still have a lot of things to tackle. still in the initial stages. getting work done is difficult, for grace is always necessary (speaking for myself). so pray with us as we start looking for extra hands and heads.
cant wait till thanksgiving. then looking fwd to the christmas break. last day of sch dec 23. love and i are looking to travel but we havent decided on the venue yet. pls pray we'll be able to figure that out asap and go! =p
