went to wrentham today with a whole bunch of singaporeans. overseas singaporean catered a bus for mit/harvard singaporean students. wah, here in US, bus is like super ex lah! 1000 bucks for a 2-way hour trip. =| sheesh. we were saying amongst ourselves that probably renting 10 cars and fitting 50 people (assume 5 in each car) is cheaper than the bus that could take 50 pple lah! anyhows, it was a good experience. =) i bought quite a number of stuff for other pple, including my aunt. will prob head to wrentham again sometime before i go back to sg. =) anyone wants stuff? fossil watches (& wallets) are pretty cheap. good for christmas pressies. =p
packed up a little bit of our room (read: finally!) cleared some stuff & my luggage. but came back with more stuff. oops! prob wont have much time to clear tmr coz got church, fellowship and i've still loads to do by mon. need to produce "progress reports" for my students. it's gonna be tough doing all 140 of them but well, definitely will need God's help in planning how.
just wanna share one thing before i head to bed: last week, keng and i went to talk to pastor stuart. to ask if he would give us the honour (i.e. mind) doing marriage prep classes for us. well, he asked more about our wedding details and we told him we're prob gonna have only a reception in US and the ceremony back in sg. he asked about our "church history" and somehow came up with the idea of him flying to sg to officiate our wedding! so exciting! well, nothing's set yet. praying that God will show the way.. =)
