Yet another time?!

ok, today another form was due. this time, it wasn't me who said that the students will get a misdemeanor mark if they did not bring it in. my floormaster had came by last friday (when we gave out the book with the form inside) and a couple of times this week to remind the kids that it will be that whoever forgotten to bring it in, will get a mark today and serve detention if they still did not bring it in on monday.

at the end of sch, one of my students came running in and handing me her form. i said thank you and told her (i cant remember if she asked first or i just said) that i am unsure that i can take off that misdemeanor mark that i had issued her this morning. 5 minutes later, her mum comes in and demands why is that the case? i nicely explained to her that it was the decision of the administration to issue the mark if the student did not bring the form in (pls dont ask me why the sch so strict or how come there's no "in-between"s for different cases..) and that i would talk to the appropriate people regarding this issue. at the current moment, i cannot do anything. not within my control.. i am doing what i have been told. sigh. the parent also insisted that the parents did not receive a set of school rules and i told her it's in the students' agenda book. to which she said, what if my daughter loses it? i'm like ?!?!? cant say anything loh.. like she's always right. =( bleah. i did find out, abt 2 mins before starting to write this blog, that all parents had received a welcome note in the orientation package which specified that the rules are in the agenda book! craps. how am i to know?

on another note. i've not been receiving the forms and stuff that all form teachers are supposed to get. how am i supposed to know i am supposed to get those? not like i have telepathy you know? i went to see the lady in charge this morning and she was like, don't you read the daily bulletin?? it's written in there where to go get the form. so "kena scolded". i checked at the end of the day, all the bulletins for this entire week and there is NO (read: no) note whatsoever telling me what to do. sheesh. i threw out last week's bulletins but i am very sure there wasn't any announcements to masters (that's what they call teachers - so nice name hor?) coz i DO read every single one every morning. sigh.

if anything, i am irritated with the system and all the administrative duties that are required but not explicitly told beforehand. =| pls pray for me...
