The Genes in Me

for one, it's interesting to note that i gave some suggestions and ideas to another 'new' teacher (for 'new', the definition is 'new' to this school) even tho i'm a 1st year teacher. haha! she has taught in other schs for a number of years.. =p well, i cant take credit for the ideas and "advices" i've gotten so far from my neighbours (i.e. teachers in the next rooms) but heh, i think the ability to think ahead has been really useful thus far and it's really God's amazing grace. i've also thot abt the genes in me, at how mum really comes up with genius ideas to solve our daily problems here & there. =p

that was just a random thot. =p anyhows, sch is going on pretty well. i've planned a couple of days in advance.. which is why i can sit in front of my laptop and blog. it seems like my applications finally got done.. and i hope the pay check will come on time (my very first "real-job" so pretty excited!) havent gotten my log in account/employee ID# yet but still surviving. it's good to know that teachers this year will be receiving laptops! yay! not sure when that's gonna happen.. my sch's also going wireless (pilot project and it's all paid for! yay! - benefits of being in a good sch =p) so that's sth else to look fwd to. meanwhile, pls pray for me as i just found out officially that i've a student with an IEP (eh, i think it's individual education plan). in other words, (s)he's a special needs child - cant reveal anything lah. i suspected it but couldnt locate the guidance counselor yesterday & today. anyway, we will be mtg the parents next week during teachers' mtg (no idea for what) but pray for wisdom as i try to accommodate this student in my classes.

other than that, it's trying to buy air tickets soon (i put in to apply for personal day already so pray that my headmaster will approve) and thinking abt wedding plans & ideas. anyone has lobangs??
