Good weekend!

hee. it was a busy but good weekend. packed fully. and i didnt manage to finish my grading (marked all the papers but didnt manage to add the scores up). always feeling that weekends pass so quickly, hardly have time to rest. we didnt even sleep in on both days! amazing right? we spent friday night shopping for sun's bbq. loads of stuff. food, disposable cutlery, drinks.. man, our car was pretty full after shopping at shaws (that's the american supermarket). love and i also bought some groceries (read: 6 boxes of cereals coz it was on sale!) next off, we headed to the asian supermarket.. had dinner first (there's a food court there), coz we were all so hungry (at least i'm speaking for myself). i just gianed hot soup (eh, a little like tom yum soup but it was called spicy lemongrass i think) and asked if they would serve it with vermicelli and the lady said, np, i'll just give you a bowl (no extra charge! yay! hehe). love ordered the vietnamese lemongrass pork chop (which was great too!) and we shared. had a very full meal. after which, it was more shopping (for mooncakes! there was durian mooncake too k?) by the time we were on our way home, guoliang and i were like stuck in the backseat with loads of stuff on us (gl was *almost* camouflaged. =p) too bad we didnt have a camera.

sat we did some household chores then headed to love's lab after lunch at kendall food court. met gl, shirleen & wenxian there. i marked a whole chunk of papers (but didnt finish, left 1 page of 1 class) and was so sleepy mid-aftn. =| thankfully it was still manageable after a short put-my-head-down-on-the-table-nap. headed home to get pork and bak kut teh spices then headed to senior house to cook dinner with christian. one of our housemate is muslim so we werent sure if he mind us cooking pork at home. anyway, christian was cooking fried rice with charmaine and love & i made the bak ku teh and marked papers. i think i'm getting fatter these days. eating a lot. =p oh well. last thu went gym and i was like appalled at how "white" i was! haha. winter coming liao, even worst! no more sun for me.. =( kekeke. night time was sharing session since zeke and kevin couldnt make it. our bible study material wasnt here either so i guess it was good. pretty open about our sharing these days and can really feel the grp drawing closer.. =)

sun church. SIF (sunday international fellowship) - where we're serving as newcomers' group leader. but it's the start of a new sem so basically, no "newcomers" coz everyone's "new". haha. we "shopped" for the intro to biblical hebrew class and it was pretty cool. got to learn the hebrew alphabets. the consonants. next week, vowels. seems pretty cheem & we don't know if we can "skip" out our "duty" and attend classes. i thought maybe keng and i can rotate one week each.. tho keng's thinking i shld just attend the entire thing. haha. afternoon, helped transport food to the bbq pits. amazingly the organisers like gl, shirleen, wx, christian, together with some others, managed to make like satay, sting ray with blan-chan & honeydew sago! love and i didnt stay too long, tho i think we socialised quite a bit. hurried off to watch a german movie the lives of others. really cool! if you have a chance, go watch it!

k, i know i bad girl. homework not done go out play. haha! good thing is that one of my students was absent on friday so i told every class that they had to wait till tmr to get it back (coz i havent collated their grades! muahhaha) when the girl has taken the test. hehe.
