well, kind of. heh. karen (my mentor teacher) will be officially staying home starting today coz her baby's due next week and she's gotten a BAD flu over the weekends. poor her, because she's pregnant, her doc isn't allowing her to be on medication - since it's just a viral attack - she has to 'live' through it. she called me last night (while i was playing diablo II with love - we finally completed all the quests! yay!) and she sounded really bad. nasal and stuff. her 2 daughters are also down with the flu, puking and stuff so she has had a rough weekend - worrying about them and not eating well. =( pls pray for her and the baby (it's a boy!) i heard she somehow fell and twisted (or maybe it's just a sprain, this i'm not sure) her ankle. so rest does seem very appropriate. =p i was officially pronounced as the newest 'staff member' on board the 6th grade team. hah! well, many of the teachers are very nice - they've been asking me to look for them if i should need any help - "just call" they say. =)
interview for the 4th grade position at milton academy on wed. *stress* pls pray. dont wanna screw anything up. hmm, oh shucks, they might have to have a sub teacher come in for the portion of the morning i'm away. hmm.. this sounds bad, not sure if i'll get approval. pls pray that everything will go smoothly - i guess i need to talk to harvard and my principal. think i've decided that i'll sub from may17 - june1 (that's when my parents are in town) and then june10 - june 20? (this i'm still thinking. will have to ask if maybe barry and family will let me stay at their place for those 10 days - i'm w/o a shelter over my head!)

anyways, sgp day was fun! we didnt eat too much - the queues were very long! (hah, typical singaporeans) and guess what? they managed to *import* the sgp weather too! it was wicked hot! the weather is starting to heat up. i heard there's still a chance of a cold front before the end of april but it'll pass soon. however, it seemed like summer today already so i'm not sure if i'll like the weather (again complaining!) oh, i managed to meet up with mabel yew! but we hardly spent time together coz she was busy helping out (volunteer for the event) think we'll catch up more when i'm in CT over the summer - coz it's just a 45/50min train ride away. took pics with hossan leong and DPM wong kan seng. will upload them soon. i forgot to bring our digital camera so love used his new hp (nokia n80!!) to take. not too bad but abit bright. hp quality i guess. he got the hp coz he's currently helping this research grp (w/o pay!) and he needs it to test sth - cant say what it is. it's under development. =p comes with a free sim card with unlimited data plan! (read: i want one too!! =p)
dinner tonight @legal's seafood. love got invited for PCS scholarship *info session*. heh.. they're trying to win overseas singaporeans back to singapore. he told the person (apparently he/she came to visit the suite) he usually eats dinner with me - and as you can guess, i got invited too. haha! hmm, scholarship with MOE? i'll have to think very hard about it. =p the thing with sgp is they bond you to the scholarship they award you. here in US, scholarship is free money. no terms, no bonds. tho the money would be intriguing, i doubt i'll take it up. will work hard to repay my parents. =)
