hah. going to NYC tmr early morning and back late at night. Singapore Day organised by the Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU). free bus, free food. pls pray for safety. i think there will be a huge crowd. gathering of many singaporeans there. just feeling quirky from the shootings at virginia tech. how mind bloggling has the entire episode been.. have this slight fear: what would i do if i met a gunman face to face? *shudders at the thought*
anyways, sad things aside. i'm gonna meet up with mabel yew!! my pri school classmate i've not seen since her family migrated to canada. this is really gonna be exciting!! it's been 13 years since i graduated from pri 6. and i found out that she's been in NYC for the past 10 mths! sheesh! lousy me, could've bunked over at her place and save money - though she did mention that her apt's very small. =p it's okies. i'll be in connecticut over the summer and it's a 40-50min train ride into manhattan so yeps, we could meet up more then. =)
