brr.. winter all over again

sheesh, -1deg C, feels like -6deg C. it's like winter all over again. and i heard it's here to stay until almost the end of april before it clears up! sob sob.. hanging on to the winter coats as yet.

thanks for all the encouragements and prayers!

the insurance guy finally relented and agreed to write a letter to state that they will reimburse us all the costs associated with the accident. he made keng sign a release form (which releases MIT from all liability of the accident - was intended not to have us sue MIT like 10 years down the road - duh!) so we got a little scared and decided, after talking to numerous pple (namely, our parents) that we should have those terms written down in black and white. to protect ourselves. at first, he wasn't too keen to sign his name down and insisted he'll just send as an email but i fought on because i remembered in my business law class in ntu, they say cannot bring email to court as a form of evidence. =p he talked to his boss and they agreed! so really thank God! =)

so now will be awaiting his reply, which we're praying will not take too long. will keep this blog updated. meanwhile, keng's at class. we'll be going to church for good friday service later in the evening. hee. meeting ji-jon and felicity (& whoever's interested in going) for dinner before the service. we happened to go anna's for lunch (i packed us a packet of grapes - washed and plucked - and a box of home-made salad - some vegs, cherry tomatoes, ham, cheese and honey dijon dressing. yum!) and met ji-jon & felicity just there. they too, were eating anna's. haha! love bought us a cup of freshly-squeeze orange juice for $1.50. wicked cool for such a price. =p chat a little, mainly on our car and what i plan to do after graduation. they're most likely moving to california - felicity got into a phD program on full scholarship (yay for her!) and ji-jon's probably working in the company he worked with for his phD (smart folks hor?).

went to love's lab after lunch. he was supposed to meet zeke (& his team-mate(s)?) there but no one was around when we arrived. helped love fix up his robot's arm - pretty fun! it took us >1 hour to get that done. by that time, love had to run for his next lecture so we left. feeling at least we accomplished sth! =)
