yes, we went car well, window-shopping. =p maybe it was showroom shopping. lol. we did check out a few cars. mostly the toyota corolla models. cant believe cars can be rather challenging. lots of different details. praying that God will lead us to the right dealer and get the best deal. gg car shopping again this coming weekend.
that was yesterday. sat we went to wrentham with barry late aftn coz he wanted to go. our car had not been working (cldnt start - batt connection had problems) but we managed to get it towed to the mechanic's sat morning. greg came by to spend time with us. so with his car, we picked keng up and headed to the supermarket to shop for sat's dinner (bbq @ greg's) while barry stayed home to watch a football game. i got lots to stock the fridge coz i had been taking the bus to & fro sch, and hadnt been able to go grocery coz of the broken-down car (i was even late on tue but that is another story to tell another time =p). anyways, we bought quite a no of things @ wrentham.. and surprisingly, love told me he actually enjoyed shopping! lol. guess that's coz he bought some new working clothes and they look really good on him!
it's columbus day today. which meant an off day for me, but not for love. i went down to meet him for lunch. brought him to this sushi restaurant. it had some lunch specials.. but it took them like 30mins to bring our order to our table. quite crap considering there were only 6 tables? but i guess prices (& food) wise still ok.. since in town. was telling love that if we work in downtown in sgp, everywhere is a food court in almost every bldg! haha. oh well. cant complain. better than having lunch 22 mins everyday, excluding time when students have to pack their bags and leave your classroom before you can lock up. =p
