sailing was fun. minus hands being frozen from the wind. love was saying you could tell it's wind chills coz we were wearing slippers and our feet were not cold at all! =) christian brought us out on the waters. charles river. pretty nice. to have the breeze in your face and the bright sun shining from above. i guess the main thing in sailing is learning the ropes and how to sail your boat. duh!
dinner was linguine with clams in tomato sauce. initially i had planned for white wine sauce but blur me forgot to buy the white wine! so smart hor? managed to improvise and change it to tomato-based sauce. turned out nice. minus the tough linguine -- i duno why the package says 12-13 minutes of boiling when i stood at the stove for >18 mins and the pasta was still stiff! well, no one complaint (perhaps paiseh) but it wasnt to my liking. had planned for greg, love and myself.. but christian had asked if we would like to have fried rice so i had him over. (he's going to cook fried rice tonight in exchange.) jeremy was at home, and i felt paiseh if i dont invite him, so i did. luckily there was enough food for everyone. *keeps fingers crossed* coz greg has a huge appetite. i think janet's gg for a divorce. poor greg. i didnt see him wearing his wedding band.
greg and i went up to the skyroom to "check it out". greg took measurements. walking from one end of the room to the other. drawing out a sketch of the furniture pieces there. love joined us after washing the dishes. we sat down to answer tons of "questions" greg had prepared. =p but it was fun. having a friend prep the design and deco. =)
