heh. trying to be funky. like some of my students. oops! occupational hazzards. =p
i finally got my contact lens. after 14 days! sheesh. i thought it was more efficient here in the US when it comes to medical stuff. anyhows, it isn't totally settled yet. coz i saw the invoice and it's like $25/lens and they're charging me like a whopping $125/lens! crazy lah. my doctor mentioned it'll be between $25-100, depending on the brand and wah.. well, i didn't lose my cool or anything, but argued my way, asking them to justify why i have to pay 5 times more! (this isn't very sarah.)
anyhows, it's thu; tmr last day of sch before my one-week break (yes again!) hehe. my most difficult student will serve a suspension tmr (quite duh if you ask me, coz tmr's the last day of sch, which means he gets to get his one week break earlier!) sigh. there are just sometimes when a kid slides and finds it just about "impossible" to pick him (or her) self up again. i guess things do get overwhelming.. it's hard to say. i remember myself doing mostly math h/w and nothing else.. gg for swimming trng, and sleeping in class because trng would be too tiring. haha! i never had the habit of sleeping before 10pm, so i guess i just never fully learnt in sch before! oops! as a teacher now tho, i'm still struggling to sleep early. timr really flies and after dinner, the next time i know when i look at the clock.. it's 10:30pm! *bleah*
ok, need to gambatte. pls continue to pray for me and with me, esp for my difficult class (& students) - that God will grant me wisdom to support them, be their friend and that God will move in their hearts to see that the teachers really do care!
over & out. to marking that is.
