haha, not moving house. tho i think the title can be easily mistaken. well, at least some things are moving fwd. i'm still rather stuck in teaching one of my classes. they are a horrid bunch, and really want to make things difficult for all their teachers. makes me really upset that they are so rebellious.. so testing. sometimes, i'm not sure if i have given up on them. really. i mean truth be told. they are just a hard bunch. they make fun of each other, focusing esp. on the special needs kid who for some reason only known to God, cannot keep his mouth shut in response to all the unkind words and jokes going around. no matter how hard all the teachers try to tell him that he needs to learn social cues, and needs to put them in practice, all goes in vain when his peers start saying things aloud. sigh.
today, i "gave up" on this class for awhile. I had the worst student stand in front of the class and "teach". he did a great job trying to imitate me.. saying things i usually say ("ok, question 1..", "can you tell the class how you got your answer..") which was kinda cool. "watching myself". =p i wanted to see how long the class wanted to fool around. and it kinda worked. for that while. the class requested him to sit down and for me to take over. which is kinda neat. =p but well, there's sth abt them. cannot sit still. cannot stop talking. some of my students in other classes cant sit still either, cant stop talking too.. but they obey. they stop when told. or at least try. they turn to writing notes instead of verbal talking. which helps. this particular class, folks, need prayers!! the students are so horrible that none of the teachers/counselors favour them. it's really sad. i want to love them, but they hinder my teaching so much that they're like 10% lower in grades than all my other classes.
ok, "sad" things aside. there's movement. i need to settle more details. invites. karen hong's pretty much recruited help and we're going fwd as soon as moi decides. food tasting end of the month (tentatively). make up artist/hairstylist set. florist still working on. photographer + videographer for actual day and tea ceremony not. oops. need to get greg over to check out the skyroom here for deco. love got his suit; i got my heels yesterday. mum said it's rather high but well.. nice nonetheless. ai mei bu yao ming? maybe. =p
