tonight's CNY party organised by the Harvard grads was quite fun. the same ol' eating - nice yummy chinese food. there was satay (with satay sauce and onions and cucumber!), almond jelly and fu yok zok (barley with ginko nuts) just to name the highlights! of coz there was also an abundant of pineapple tarts (love's favourite), egg rolls and almond cookie. =) then karen, sumin and suxin led a time of games. hah! lucky we had barry's kids around.. they were all very sporty. and my group won 1st place! some pineapple tarts and soveniers that karen got from SIF (singapore international foundation, i think). too bad i didnt bring camera but i'll get some pics from karen when she sends them to me (caution: it may take forever tho =p oh i'm so bad!)
i guess it was more fun than MIT's last week. pple merely just sat in tables and talk. we did lau yu sheng (without the yu - fish - though because serene was afraid if anyone get stomachache or food poisoning, the club will be blamed). tonight's had smoked salmon but it was the pre-packed kind brought over from singapore by karen. last week's, we manually skinned and grated the vegs so it was much fresher and 'salad-like'. hah!
ok, tmr's my last day of hols. boohoo! it was a relaxing week and time just flew by so fast! love got me started on diablo II (brother, you shld be proud of me! haha! i'm finally playing games again). we slept at 5am last night! opps. but it was certainly an enjoyable break. pls pray for me as i get back into the mode of waking up at 6am every morning and *have to* sleep at 10pm every night. also, i'll be having a formal observation this thursday - which i believe i'll have like at least 4-5 people coming in to watch me! sheesh! hope i wont get a nervous breakdown! haha!
alrighty, i think i wanna take some time to rest and *maybe* make banana ice cream/milkshake. keep those sms-es and emails coming!
