Maths

things are picking up and things are going at a snail pace. church life is getting exciting as we gear up for the event this Sunday - international extravagenzer. a time for citizens of other countries to set up a stall and 'sell' their culture, language, food or whatever that makes their countries unique. we decided (actually, i just followed along) that we were going to do drinks since in most cases, pple would provide food (& be thirsty). heh. we're doing barley, bandung (hopefully the 'dung' part won't scare them =p), milo, chin chow (grass jelly) and sugar cane juice. at the back of the 'cards' we made to tell pple the ingredients and its common 'use' (or belief of use), we added a prayer request (or 2, actually 3 on one of them) for Singapore. hopefully, this will help other members of the church know more about the culture (in this case, drinks =p) and also to keep Singapore in prayers. of coz my small group will be proud to know i actually took the requests off our akuou blog! hehe. =)

snail-ish. steep gradient. unable to climb. i'm starting to feel like i dont wanna go to school to teach anymore. sigh. ok, maybe not dont wanna go totally.. but having this fear towards one particular class. i have no idea if i'll be ready to take over entirely on my own once karen leaves on maternity leave! i pray that i will have the strength, the passion and the desire to see my kids go forth from 6th grade. such a drag. pls pray for me. i'm trying to snap out of it and also be optimistic about getting a job in a good school next year. some of my classmates already secured a job! *stress*
