yay! spring is FINALLY here~ so much for liking winter when i never experienced winter before. haha! it was a 'hazard' coz it was so cold - my skin got really dry =( - plus like i had to wear layers and layers (made me look fat =p) and the car had so many problems from the extreme cold (had to spend like a good 4-5minutes - at least! - each morning to get the car warmed up). really a pain coz everyone got sick really easily.. and the cold bug just got passed around in school like wild fire. =|
anyways, it's like warming up now. it hit 12 deg C yesterday! for a change, definitely. i can now go out in a lighter jacket and have no need for the thick 'mongolian' hat i got together with matching mittens (i learnt that mittens keep your hand warmer than gloves. hee) the kids were asking us to take them out but sadly, my middle sch coordinator didn't approve our plans, even though it was for a maths investigation. hmpf!
school has been ok. tiring. 4 more weeks to spring break. =P then after that, 2 more weeks to the end of my practicum. opps, i'm counting. =p just cant wait for it to be over. cant wait for karen (my mentor teacher) to go on her maternity leave.. cant wait to be the 'lead' teacher and 'take full control' of the class! then again, on the other hand, also quite scared as to what i'll be facing - kids who knew i was an intern teacher and 'made use' of me.. then having 'complete' authority to do what i want and what i can when karen leaves. oh i'm so bad. however, recently, i've been skeptical if teaching's really for me. i guess it's a phase where i feel discouraged that the kids arent paying any attention, lest to say if ever, hardly. and they dont get it. what's worst is their attitute - if you say so. sigh..
pray for me, i'm starting to feel sick. AGAIN. sigh. i'm not sure.. just feeling like entire body ache. can be quite painful at times.. but it comes and goes. =( also, keng and i are planning to go back to sgp this year, just hafnt gotten the dates settled. i'm also thinking if i wanna go to vietnam for a cultural exchange.. *still thinking*
