a good break. US has 'funny' holidays. =p anyway, i've been losing focus pretty quickly recently. it's just not easy being a student and a teacher. not to mention i still have to 'take care' of folks here. love has been a great help and encourager. *beams* for those who share the faith, pls pray for his right wrist. it has been hurting a little since last aug when he bummed into someone while playing volleyball. certain angles cause it to hurt mainly. saw the doc and took x-ray last week (finally!) but no cracks/fracture on bones so doc suspect it's ligament tear. cant be sure unless he decides to go for an MRI. doc did say to test it out by playing sports which required wrist motion.. which we did.
so off we went to play tennis (& squash - last min decision) today. since it was a public hol and wonderful that i *finally* finished my report. i think it was a total of 40 pages inclusive of appendix. phew! a great relief. i still have a reflection paper to do on this project but i'm just so glad the main bulk of it is done. awaiting feedback and comments. there's always lots to do but i guess finding time to do other things that i like would just be harder and harder when i work.. so must do now! i baked pork ribs the other day and choc chip cookies on sat. =p anyhows, i miss playing tennis with sg. heard abby say it's harder to gather pple to play nowadays. so sad! oh, before i forget, yes, love's wrist did hurt so christian was saying it's most likely the ligaments. sigh. we'll have to keep off wrist-too-intensive sports for now and make sure he doesnt hurt it further as he codes (i.e. sit in front of the computer and use the keyboard).
