Updates

well well, i've been busy. or have i? frankly, if you'd ask what i am busy with, i cant exactly pin an answer to it. so who i am to fool but myself?

had this HUGE hornet (i'm not joking) flying in my room beside me just now. i was almost scared stiff. not that i'm really afraid of flying insects (but you'll be able to tell my 'fear' or well, HUGE dislike for flying cockroaches) but thank God i didnt move my hands to brush it aside or sth.. else this post might not come true! =p

anyhows, nothing much has been done for my preparations so far. i've just been waiting for harvard's sending over of my visa documents (so i can go apply for visa) and been shopping around (window shopping mostly) to check the prices of stuff (still thinking if i shld buy that vacuum cleaner - to suck the air out of the vacuum bags i've invested to store my clothes and well, also to clean up my room when i'm there lah!). i've to confess that i spent a lot of money yesterday. courtesy of dad's long service award vouchers at Takashimaya. =) got a juice blender for dad, cooking wok (some expensive titianium one) for mum, nike dri-fit tee for bro.. and of coz since the vouchers were mine, i decided to splurge a little too. got me-self a pair of oakley sunglasses, a billabong bikini and my much awaited tennis racket handle wrap. =p planning to buy a pair of timberland walking shoes and a fossil watch. heh, no prizes for correct guess of the value of all the items.. but u can tell it's a lot. dad has been working there for 30 years loh!!

ok, time to head out to meet quanrong for lunch. hafnt seen him in a long while. this will probably mark the beginning of the mtg of old-time friends before i leave for States. continue later when i'm home. =p
