Extension

work officially terminates on 13 April (according to the contract lah) but God is good. =) nany (my boss) spoke to me abt extending my contract for one more month today. =p and hence, i'll be working for another month before it'll be time to really pack and leave. sheesh, cringing at the thought of the tough life i'll have in US.. but well, i know this is the door God has opened for me, so like it or not, this hard narrow way will be the way i'll go. =) of coz, with God's grace i'm sure everything will be just fine. *smiles*

had quite a headache choosing who to go lunch with today. i'm like lunch partners with every of my colleague (other than my bosses =p) but individually (i.e. 1 on 1 lunches). which makes things kinda tough esp when everyone is back in office today - bel works odd days; alina was in philippines the whole of last week and so caroline, who's new, "took over" to becoming my lunch khaki (as well as office khaki). only saw bel last mon - amy had swapped with her wed and she was sick on fri. apparently, they dont exactly feel comfy going lunch with one another, so i'll have to "choose". sigh. don't like office politics - reason why i wont work as well with adults. anyhows, i prayed and God "opened" a way - alina and caroline had to lunch in (too much work; i bought caroline hers) so i could spend today with bel. haha. cheap and good duck rice (it's very worthed it considering it's $3 and it came with half an egg and half a tofu!) had a good talk with her. she asked me if i considered myself religious. haha. i asked her what she defined as religious. and we shared our views. on other things as well. i think i'm quite well-liked in office (thankfully not involved in any politics whatsoever) but i guess it's the Lord's favour and i should really thank Him. =)
