heh. this was God's answer to my prayers: this luminous bright green & 'new addition' to my home's umbrella collection is 'from' God. interesting huh? haha.. well you see, i was heading to the day-care centre today when i started to rain cats & dogs. i had half a mind to continue my bus journey (since it was a loop service) to the opposite side of the road, in hope that the rain would have lighten by then. but.. i didnt. i alighted at the bus stop & waited. i still had about 20mins to spare so i just stood at a corner reading my korean notes.. ok, 20mins down the road, it was still raining cats & dogs. maybe i should've started with 'kittens & pups' =p then increase it to cats & dogs. oh well.. =p yupz, & so i decided to dash across the road in the rain to the bus stop on the other side of the road (now, if i had continued on the bus, would i have already reached the bus stop on the other side of the road?? -- i duno the answer) & walked under the void decks towards Salvation Army. now, i still had close to about 150m to dash & the rain seemed to be getting heavier. i wasnt too keen to run in the rain, especially since i wasnt feeling well (developing a bad sore throat & seem to be coming down with flu symptons. bleah) so i prayed & asked God to well, lighten the rain. i cant remember if i closed my eyes to pray but after my 'amen', a guy who had just gotten into the van in front of me (i was standing facing a car park) got out with his huge umbrella & took a step towards me. ah.. *beams* "do you need an umbrella?" i smiled & nodded my head. i thought he was going to shelter me across the road (car park cum small lane). he didnt answer me but instead walked back to his van. *alamak - slaps forehead* did i misunderstand his question? or did he not see my nod? just when i was about to cry (did you really think i would cry?? =p), he opened the side door of his van & took out this ultra-bright green umbrella & gave it to me. with that, the guy got into his van & drove off. wow! God answered my prayer. more than just showing to me that He has control over the weather (He could've stopped the rain instantly), He answered my prayer in a better way than i can ever imagine!! God is Good~! =)
