the future

i may not make it out alive tomorrow, but even if i do, i'm just so thankful for the people God has brought along in my life!

wow. the group that taught me a lot. though we were always having new faces, i've picked up many good friends! LI in london, HL in DC, JJ&F in LA, KH (& DT) in SF, GW in Kenya -- we've spread out to the world! i'm sure i've missed out many names.. but hey, all those times we've met on sundays and shared the love of Christ -- just pure awesomeness! another wow. you made life here in the Bay good. really good. dominion and 7 wonders. nertz and dinners. you know who you are. so glad pandaland was a place you could come hang out. sorry we might move. thank you for all the laughter, the fun, the time-outs.

miss having you in the Bay area. hope the car is in a better shape soon(er). thanks for all the anesthesia advice. =P i don't know if i'll ever remember what they give me but who cares? i can talk to a friend who can list them all out for me!

i found out your birthdate, randomly. you didn't wana share previously and i had tried to ask your brother who kindly said no. lol. but you were so eager to show your new driver's license and bam, i got the info in my face. =P stay strong. i know you can get past the past.

i cannot imagine the past few months w/o you. thank you for making dinner, and then fighting to wash dishes. thank you for the constant love and care you've given. for the yummy food you've made. tears that you shed while chopping onions. loved the head-butts. you are truly amazing. smart, fun, caring.. may you find the girl of your dream and have lots of baby pandas to continue the family line! =P

thank you for always including me in your thoughts and prayers even though the distance and time has increased this year. i appreciate your honesty, the fun times and laughter we've had and i will always remember this loving kindness.

thank you for including us even though we're on the other side of the world. the emails always seem weird (since we're not super updated on things) but close-at-heart at the same time. keep striving to learn about God's word and not forget to meet always to support one another. thank you for the huge parcel you sent across! much love!

To: YL, my maid of honor
somehow, things didn't quite work out with GH (i'm so happy he's getting married next year) but you & Ben accepted me all the same. we've lived lives separately since, in part b/c we're in different countries and in part b/c things have been different after marriage. thank you for all the hard work you put in to help organize my wedding. i was truly blessed by such a great friend you have been to me!


To: CS, my mummy and mentor
thank you for showing me how a lovely, Godly family can be like. thank you for always opening your home and your love to me. i know A, A & J will succeed in life, b/c the Lord is with them. thank you for praying for me and with me, giving me advice and just listening when i needed someone to confide in. thank you for guarding my prayer time as i sought the Lord with you.

you're a sister i never had. i'm happy (and envious) that you married into such a nice & loving family! may you continue to trust God and that God will lead M to establish a wonderful family of your own!

distance made our hearts grow fonder. thank you for putting up with my nonsense for many (of the early) years, neighbor. thank you for trusting me to be your big sister. i hope that you will choose the path that would make God (& mum & dad) proud. pls take care of them!

thank you mum & dad for always loving me. i'm sorry we've been away all these while. hopefully things can change up a little in the future & you won't be so lonely - either didi move home or you move to one of the countries we're in.
