i made it!

it wasn't that bad.. maybe it was. haha. but given another chance, i think i might prefer to not have surgery. the experience with GA was pretty bad. Vinca feels bad for me. she thought the anesthesiologist didn't handle me well - i woke up almost 2 hours after surgery was over; my uvula was quite badly damaged (didi and her said it should be fine. didi says at most it'll just drop out and my voice will be slightly altered) - not sure if i was given too much drugs but all i remember was me shifting from the bed to the operating table and moving myself upwards until they said it was ok then bam. i woke up feeling all dizzy with Myung in scrubs in front of me. i was very happy she was there. a familiar face, a warm hand. made me feel so at ease. someone asked if i was feeling any pain.. i remembered being briefed earlier that i would be needed to share that info on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being no pain and 10 being extreme pain. i said 1/2. Myung asked if i needed anything and i said my toes were cold. she was very tickled by my responses and said she would return after going out to report my status to the rest (love, Jeff & Han.) i definitely felt very loved by them. unfortunately, i had to stay another 4 hours before i could finally dress myself, not w/o throwing up apple juice all over myself. :( yuck. and the nurse didn't do a good job cleaning/changing my gown. oh wells.

the other bad part of surgery was that they didn't get to do the hysteroscopy! :( yea, my uterus is slanted, but i thought my doctor knew that already! apparently the instrument poked a hole in my cervix. how cool is that? sigh. they didn't get the polyps out. not sure how that would play out. i'm certainly not going through surgery just to have those removed. well, unless i really need it...

Lynn made it. Faith was delivered few days ago. so happy for her! to top up the good news, Anyi is now 7 weeks pregnant. oh man. when will it be my turn? everyone says i'm next. but i don't wana count on that. i don't want to have that expectation and then be disappointed. does God really want me to go through the desert twice for 2-year periods? :( He makes all things beautiful in His time...
