10 days i was away. things don't change that fast. esp on this side of the world. buildings take years to look like one, whereas in SG, you find a new building or other every 1-2 years. i took the subway out today, and walking to the stn felt strange. lol. i've been here before. it seems like some time ago..
SG. new buildings. tho almost everyone of them contain the same stores. still, there are tons of pple at every place i went. amazing. the train ride which took 16mins from hougang to dhoby ghaut seemed forever. i guess if we're really gg back some day, we'd better stay at a very convenient location. otherwise, i might not be able to survive?
time seemed to have stopped for those of us who left. - jit.
seems so. friends have moved on. yet, still it was strange. jokes sounded familiar. the same usual pple get the limelight (kena suan all night) - usual suspects. it's as if it was just yesterday when we hung out. new faces. new gfs/bfs. babies born. babies become toddlers and young kids. where have i been? this new aunt that popped out of nowhere to give ang baos..
