today is kinda the half way mark for my trip back home. in another couple of days, i'll be leaving for my other home in boston. time flies really fast. but at least it's been enjoyable with family. =)
thankfully i've been able to sleep well. not jet lagged. oh, i shld go get an eye mask. so can sleep better on the plane on the way home. =) maybe?
tired. woke up at 5:45am today. coz mum had the lights on - another reason why i shld buy the eye mask... =p left the house at 7am to go to the us embassy. didnt get on a cab until 7:15 and the cab driver tried to "cheat" me. he said that the radio just broadcast a traffic jam on the highway due to an accident and that we shld then take a longer route. 3mins after he said that, i heard the radio traffic update come on. the DJ said "no (normal) morning traffic jams. all roads are smooth to travel on." hmpf. uncle ah, don't earn my money like that leh.. we got to tanglin mall totaling $17.95. or $17.90. i asked him to keep the change after he gave me $2 back (i gave him $20) and was searching for coins. uncle, i know times are hard but still..
