oh well, they decided to close school for the vacations. emails & calls were made out on sunday night informing families that there won't be school until jan'09! woohoo! that made my day. haha! but well, we have to make up 3 extra days in june. sigh. if there are >5 snow days, we only make up 5. so either it snows more, or it stops snowing from now until end of march/early april. hehe.
went for sushi buffet today. the road conditions weren't fantastic. a lot of icy roads - which made cars skid. cy and i witness that while walking to pick up a rental car - the car moved from one lane to the other and skid, banging one side into the centre divider. dent. *sad* love & i decided agst driving our car coz the place is abt a good 30mins' drive on the highway and we werent sure of the road conditions. i wasnt very confident of driving in such conditions either so cy kindly took the wheel. hehe. he's like a big brother. very big-brotherly. haha. we were a grp of 13 pple loh. quite fun. went there once when kev was in freshmen year.
cant wait to leave for arizona tmr. we managed to buy some pressies for mitchell & keng's uncle/aunt. =) will be taking lots of pics of grand canyon & vegas. someone was also suggesting buying the casino chips while in vegas. we'll see how much they cost. =p
anyhows, blessed Christmas & a happy, happy new year! oh i miss the countdown back home..
