i lost one side of my contact lens. even tho i shouted "accident!! help!! emergency!!", to which my love and my dear brother, christian came running to the bathroom to my rescue. unfortunately, neither of them can locate my right contact lens.. so i've been going abt w/o it. which is a pain. coz the difference in degree has made things blur and also caused quite abit of headache. of coz i've also shout out to mum to ask if she can call my optician in SG to re-order one (and if in US, to deliver directly to my place...) abby says i should nonetheless go to my local optician to get correct degree lens, which in any case might serve as a backup should this ever happen again. yes i do have my glasses with me, but after wearing those corrective lens for 3 years, the lens are no longer a fit - degree too "deep". either way, with or w/o glasses, life's been un-clear (pun intended).
on a fun and happy note, karen hong just sent us a "mock" invitation card (for our wedding) and it looks just so pretty!! very professionally done too! i'm so proud of her! some very minor details to change but all in all, wonderfully designed and created!
