haha.. stupid title but well, for once, just once, i managed to finish an entire meal by myself. we went to shabu-zen in chinatown after facial (love kindly sat there coding while waiting for me) - it was just across the road and we were like quite gian to try. so yep, try we did. the portions were just right. tho i guess expensive for that amount of serving. heck. the vegs were pretty good and well, it'll be a one-off thing (hopefully) so yep. =p the power of earning your own money...
anyway, we just found out today that we'll be leading a bible study group. discipleship level. wah. it was a surprise. certainly werent expecting it. the previous leaders, a married couple, seem to be missing. we wonder if it was a conflict of interest when the new structure of grouping was first introduced. quite sad i guess. they were great leaders. we didnt see pastor stuart today. he's away on family vacation.. or family rest. whatever you call it. we did do up the 211 qn survey for him last night.. until quite late. like 1+am. coz we wanted to start classes with him this week. but well, guess we'll start the following week then. =p
sch's been ok. marking marking marking lately. i think the christmas break wasnt sufficient. spent so much time doing so many things, i just didnt feel rested. tho was back in the comfort of my home and doting parents. that i cannot complain. it was good. not to worry about what to cook, when to do things, what time to wake up to go work.. wished it was a little longer (the break) and that we didnt have so many things to do. guess i'll have july to enjoy that.. but before we get there, the other worry would be h1-b (visa) apps. must really trust God to provide!
