Fir-re-zing!

brrr.. as we speak, it's -7 deg C outside, with the wind chill factor, feeling like -14 deg C! we were supposed to go to kendall food court for dinner, but it was closed by the time we arrived (i thot it closes at 7! we were there like 6:25-ish!) not much of a choice but to brave the wind and head home (abt 3mins' walk). when we arrived at our apt doors, this guy kindly opened the outer door for us. i just passed a comment saying, freezing! and he looked at me, "how are you going to survive winter if this is cold?" sigh. how? i dunno.. anyway, we decided to order in instead coz it was too cold to go anywhere. had worship and bible study while waiting for the food to arrive. it was a good time of sharing, real deep sharing.. our weaknesses and stuff. i really miss akuou. but i know God has me here for a purpose.. so not supposed to be complaining.

sch has been ok. lots to do. mostly marking. my kids lots of them didnt go well for chpt 4's test. so i had them do a take-home test (similar questions) to make up. still, i have pple who failed. i dunno. i mean they had the whole thanksgiving weekend to do it, textbook & notes to check, and they could still ask friends, family or even a tutor! so much for the effort on my part. some still didnt do well. but yeah, i did my best, so gonna heck those. not been sleeping enough this past week. pls pray for strength to last till christmas! *cant wait to go home!*

weekly updates:

mon: class after sch. love left for interview so spent the night alone.

thu: love and i went to watch a NBA game. boston celtics vs new york knicks. celtics was leading all the way. guess it was quite an experience, tho we didnt get like fantastic seats.. way up in the balcony (we were trying to decide if it's as large as sg indoor stadium) so it was bird's eye view. at least we were at the court's corner so we could watch the balls being scored at the basket.

fri: played wheel of mathematics with my kids! some classes had fun; others just werent interested. sigh. really dunno how to otherwise motivate them. shall email my prof to see if he can give me more suggestions. =P
