keng's gone for another interview. 3rd round with a co. i feel it's kinda wasting time to make 3 trips to go through interviews with the same co but i guess, well, you get a chance to meet more pple, different dept and make a more well-informed decision on a job. things were different for me, in that i got my current job with just a face-to-face interview, and a call back less than 4 hrs after. it was truly amazing how God worked. i wouldn't dare say i'd never forget how God blessed me (we can be quite forgetful creatures, esp in times of trials and tribulations) -- so remind me, smack me, scold me.. anything to get me to wake up to my senses, if i ever do forget how God was gracious and good to me. anyhows, we just aren't sure how things will be next year. whether we'll stay or move.. whether love's gonna do phd, work or just take a year off (sounds good hor?).
we met emille and aylwin at macy's just now. spent a good 5-10mins standing in the middle of the shopping mall just talking. i think i never quite got to speak much to emille before and am pretty thankful for the opportunity. of coz her first qn was how's our wedding preps... to which i said we're down to nothing done yet. haha! they shared a little about theirs.. how it was during the SARS period and they were working (or rather, in connection with) TTSH and worrying that their guests won't turn up because of that. she volunteered to help in whatever way she could. i guess it's just narrowing down to what we'll need and how others can help. i wish though, to have as many of my family & friends involved as possible. any volunteers??
