Sealed

heh, we finally got our windows sealed. with glad-wrap. ok, cling wrap. however you wanna call it. =p so there's a layer of 'air' to act as an insulator.. as well as scotch tapes with i think, 12 pennies -acting as small weights - stuck all around (maybe i shld take a pic) that will keep the cold air out and the warm air in. hopefully that will last us through the winter.. it's really getting cold. and i mean REALLY cold! i checked the temperature online this afternoon. it was -6 deg C at 12noon and according to the website, it "feels like" -16deg C!! woah.. when i left about 1pm, i almost cried while walking to the T (which is like 3mins' walk only) coz the wind was so chilly and my entire face hurt.. and that included my eyes! (except that i was afraid to cry in case my tears froze on my face =p the water on the ground & cracks froze - that's how cold loh!)

been really stressed up coz i've my own deadlines to meet & keng's just been super duper busy. he sleeps like 5hours everyday. thankfully, all his quizzes are done, leaving only 1 final exam. phew! praise God that love's still in good health. we've both been pumping vitamins daily.. just in case. still have loads of presentations and papers due. for me, it's 1 presentation on mon & 2 final papers (reflection kind but need to quote readings) due early Jan. i'm glad i managed to help love finish part of his assignment & do some background research for one of his papers - it does get tiring from doing all the other 'house' stuff like maintaining a set of clean clothes (socks & underwear esp), cooking and washing. pray that i'll manage my time well & not be too stressed by the demands of everything.

at the very least, it's another weekend and hey, it's Dec already! almost mid-way & pretty soon it'll be Christmas - that would mark my 7th month away from home! (wow right?) i'm certainly looking fwd to the break.

trying to learn the keyboard from christian. hafnt had much of a progress from the fact that my right hand cant coordinate with my left. =( christian played 'silent night' & reminded me so much of christmases spent at wesley.. i miss home.. =(
