heh. it was a nice dinner. went to see a car (Mazda mx-6) and test drive with keng then met up with 4 other singaporeans for jap food. pray that if we decide to go ahead to buy the car (the owner's a taiwanese who's returning back to singapore to be a professor at SMU), it'll be a good buy. some issues with the car that i will talk and discuss with dad (my expert) before going ahead. hee. i miss mei just thinking of the yummy jap food we use to eat whenever we meet up (mei: did we ever not have jap food when we went out? =p maybe. but i remb jap dinners most. =p) alright, i miss all my church friends back home too!! i get to talk to mum, dad and didi quite often so it's been ok. mum and didi got me a card and dad didnt sign it coz (mum said he was petty =p haha.) he said "no space to write liaoz" but there was still an empty side on the left. but got an email from dad so.. =) miss having dinners with them. oo.. i so miss eating chili crabs & fried matou! food.. haha.
the weather's getting colder here. since i was out last thu from sch, i had to make up so i went in to Murphy on fri. glenda (my ride) was officially an employee of BPS (boston public school) so she was going in late because she had some stuff to do. love volunteered to drive me to sch but fearing the morning traffic, i told him i'd take the train & bus to sch myself. wrong choice to be wearing sandals coz my toes were so painfully 'frozen' (thankfully they didn't drop off halfway to sch) while waiting for the next bus (i missed the earlier bus by 30seconds when it wasn't supposed to leave until 3mins later! *grr..*) - i might need to get footwear & clothes for work. my current ones might cause me to freeze in winter. sigh. spend money again. oh well, maybe i'll tag along keng & the MIT ACM team (dun ask me what ACM stands for - i forgot. heh.. but some coding competition) to Montreal next weekend. i heard the shopping there's cheaper (i think coz of the exchange rate). otherwise, i may return to wrentham (this huge factory outlet shopping complex) to shop again. haha.
