Been Awhile (Mon)

hee. yep, been awhile since i last blogged. just been lazy most of the time. the day just flies by so quickly, i hardly have time to sit down think and do stuff (i've lots of things to do!!). nah, i've been having fun - which explains the MIA (missing in action) part. =p

yesterday was another such lazy day. woke up late - as usual, but will have to change WEF (with effect from) today =( bleah. basically a slow start. went to Target to get me mattress protector but they were out of stock. sobz. serene bought like $120's worth of bedding stuff to deco her room (it's very nice but moi no money.. *cry* sob sobz.) the rest (kevin, christian & weixian) bought quite a number of stuff too. was a little tempted to shop but reminded myself i should save up for the Wrentham trip (if any; this factory outlet place) to get my winter boots & clothings. then we hopped back on kevin's car to go to the galleria (they really assume sarah has an built-in map in her head loh). the rest shopped while kevin and i headed to the food court to have jap food. yummy!! i was comtemplating if i should spend the money to have such a luxury (food dont come cheap here in US, unfortunately) but then decided that i'll heed mum's advice. she said not to crimp on food so much, that we should eat while we can. else next time old liaoz this cannot eat, that cannot eat (hmm, bad theory huh? we'll find out soon! - when the weighing machine tells the truth)

had a hard time getting back to kevin's car after (with 2 fridges!!) coz there was a traffic jam outside - pple were trying to get into the car park and strangely, they only had 2 gates opened (i'm not sure if they were trying to control the traffic flow into the shopping centre but it sure didnt make sense to have a long line of cars outside). anyways, we finally got home (& unloaded). we wanted to take the T to church (6 of us were going) because it was difficult to find parking.. BUT we were running late (from all that shopping - yours truly didnt buy anything. amazingly. =p) and then everyone was like, "sarah, you know the way right?" i'm like ?huh? no.. no map imprinted in my brains. at least not that part of town. haha. so love and i raced up to his room (the comp terminal downstairs love said, had a long process of logging in..) to check the route to church. sadly, i didnt think to check the route back - in a rush i guess =( & we got lost. heh. went on a highway and had to pay toll (how annoying!). was a big detour too. sigh. church was fine except we missed like worship. opps. that was what the guys were wanting to check out - the contemporary worship @ park street. well, at least most of us were comfortable with service, minus the fact that we were sitting right in front. =p

anyhows, we had a fun time jamming away in the basement music room. =) zeke's a fantastic pianist. love's great on the drums. christian did the keyboard (so did serene when she came after her run with kevin). kevin's great on the guitar (he played for YM back home). moi? i duno. just strummed a little on the guitar and sang. haha. but it was nice!
