yeah so ok.. tmr's friday! yay weekends! *beams* tmr's half day of sorts. no classes or anyth in the afternoon! yes, i'm free!!! haha. as if. have TONS and TONS (& trust me, it's ALOT) of readings to finish up today and the rest of the weekend.. just handed up a brief today and will have to hand in one more coming tue. =( another assignment due tomorrow night, 8pm. that, i'm about two-thirds done. i've been leaving home abt 8/9am-ish (depending on what time orientation started) and returning about 5/6pm-ish. by the time i reach home, i'm so dead tired it's amazing how i can fix dinner (i cheat a little in that i've just to scoop out the portions I wanted and heat up in the microwave oven =p), wash up and read! quite often, (at least for these few days) i've been so tired, i doze off reading my notes. i guess it matters that some of the readings can be very dense material. puts me to sleep. good sleep-inducing stuff. =) but certainly not great when the light in your room is yellow (i went to buy a white just now but it didnt turn out white! GRRR..) and you have readings due the next day. well, it is the only source of light in the room (it's not dark but it can get quite warm coz it's yellow light) so cant complain much..
i should've taken pics of the amount of groceries i bought each time (thrice now) from the supermarket. i'll try to remb next time. =p anyways, i would take the bicycle there and ride back with plastic bags (which were HEAVY - considering i was the ONLY person and i've bought rice, orange juice, milk, fruits, just to name a few) on the 2 handles. very much trying to maintain balance and at the same time not swerve because it would be a total disaster for me to have the bags swing too hard! about $30 each trip so i've spent close to 100 bucks. lots of stuff in the fridge. hopefully it'll last me at least a month plus! maybe 2? haha.
i'm one out of the two only international student in my cohort. the other guy grew up partially in US so maybe not counted? makes it a little difficult to understand everyth said in class coz everyone just assumes you know everyth already. as i think (and think), i really wonder if i'm a right fit for this program. like everyth is so geared towards US education, i duno if i'm suitable. yes, i would want to teach here but there's so much to consider and also more difficult when u're considered a minority here. *stress* but i'm quite certain God has a plan in mind.. so i'm walking in faith, that this path will lead somewhere.. somewhere where i will find peace and fulfill His will for me.. =)

hey Mei, yeah, trust in God is all I can say. Sometimes it is difficult, but what God needs is for you to take the step of faith and partner Him in this wonderful plan. Like in Joshua, when the priests had to cross the flooding Jordan river, they didn't know if they would be washed away. But they had to take the first step into the deep end. And when they did, they saw God's miracles unfolding. I know God has a wonderful plan for you, so take heart and stand firm in Him! :)
