ate at this moroccan restaurant yesterday night.. it was nice. actually, maybe the food was abit too sweet (for my liking) but well, i got to know quite alot of new friends. mainly from Indonesia. half the time they were conversing in indonesian but heys, i picked up a few new words.. haha. am gg to meet the girls later, who will be bringing me to downtown seattle!! hee. well, shaohong & kenny will be gg whitewater rafting at leavenworth (some town up north) but i won't be going because there was some miscommunications. shao thot kenny had included me in the list but kenny thot shao didnt confirm so in the end.. hee.
so after a 24 bucks dinner (inclusive of a belly-dancer) we headed to watch a movie. Madagasca. nice but again, expensive! sobz. last night alone costed me $35! the indon gals drove. i nearly died (read: nearly but close to) of a heart attack when the car i was sitting in came out of a non-parking space (we figured it was a tow-away zone after we caught sight of the sign some 10m away) with the driver not even turning to check if it was safe! imagine me sitting at the driver's back (it's the left back over here.. left-hand drive) & watching a car swerved away from me. if not for the other car's driver's reaction fast, i duno what would have become of me.. hahha. ok, sounds abit serious but heys, it's fine. the car wasnt travelling at a high speed..
anyway. latest update: i'm much much better liaoz. flu's gone.. still abit of runny nose but doing well. i even went sailing yeaterday! kenny sailed while i happily sat in the boat! =P
