somehow, it isn't easy to get the (right) message across. people interpret with their (first) impressions, your tone, your body language and "saying what you mean and meaning what you say" is so difficult.
i thought i struggled with this issue in high school.. then in college it got better. i thought that would be a positive slope thereafter but i've come to realize, after almost 5 year of marriage, it's back to square one again. maybe it isn't even square one but some negative number. hmm, hazards of being a math teacher?
