these days, i'm feeling lazier and lazier!
the discipline to sleep earlier has (and will always be?) been a struggle. i am still choosing to wake up 30mins before the time to step out of the door (of which i spend 15mins snoozing in bed! but yea, i do have an extra 15 mins buffer in case of traffic, etc) - cant bring myself to set the alarm earlier. i wonder if i'll ever outgrow it. then again, BP says i'll be on 'pager duty' some day. when, if ever, i do not know but it sure would mean times when i don't feel like getting out of bed.
just done 2 runs in 2 weekends. quite an accomplishment for me! maybe i shld park in the far end of the parking lot and walk to the sch bldg for more exercise! then again, i think work has made me fitter, since i stand on my feet a number of hours each day. i think though, i stood more 3-4 years ago when i was teaching at BLS. the smaller set of students allow for me to get closer to them (and yes, walk lesser around the classroom!)
it's been quite a challenge teaching 4 classes straight in a row. i used to teach 5 classes a day but having 4 preps is really quite a bit. i have to shift gears very quickly and i'm not sure if i've actually been doing a good job - not much thoughts going into preparations. :( the j-aspect of the school has been really eye-opening and though things are tough at times, i thank God for putting me there to experience it. will ever the want to earn more be a factor to leave? hmpf. it's hard to say. there's not as much pressure in a pte sch compared to one that receives govt money - not that there's a lot in CA. will i ever head back to SG to be a teacher? i guess i'll cross the bridge when it comes. thankfully all our parents are doing ok. for now. i hope that won't change too soon in the future...
