Tutor Reflection

it's interesting how some of my previous students are coming back to look for me. i lost a number of them when we moved to CA -- i don't blame them; having a tutor who would come to their house and teach physically made sense. i would have considered that if i were a parent. there were only 2 students who went ahead with remote tutoring (over FaceTime or Skype) and subsequently, they seemed to be the ads/flyers that i never took the time to put up.

the system failed me once. this time, it'll be a little different. this time, i don't have to worry about visa issues. but it seems hard. God has it that He does have a plan in mind. i've yet to have a sneak preview. yet.. but i'm excited at the prospect of working with more of my previous students again. :) hey, maybe on second thoughts, it is God's plans... hmm...

how can i help myself be better equipped at helping my students? what is one thing that defines my teaching????
