i think i've gotten the flu. after the sore throat subsided that is.
decided to take the day off and stay home instead of going to sch and spreading it to my kids. kristy in the next room is also sick. she was running a fever yesterday so the nurses sent her home after lunch.. tho i think she stayed for half a period more - we have R5 then lunch then second part of R5. R=recitation. i.e. period lah. gets complicated when you're giving a test. coz you have to split it half. i was told the kids shouldn't be allowed to go back to the first part, coz they might have discussed it over lunch and come back to correct their work - which makes sense. but who is to say that they couldn't finish and would then want to go back and complete? oh well.
i figured there might be a slight chance i'll be out today, so i left work on my table. hopefully the sub is able to teach the new stuff. there are some things i prob will still have to go over with them next mon when i return.. but i hope they get a math sub, someone who is versed in math. else the kids are just going to have 'loads of fun' in class. haha.
